Funerales en Ein El Hewle por las víctimas de Maroun Al-Ras

Abdel Rahman Sabha tenia 19 años cuando ayer se lanzó con vítores, cantos y su pañuelo palestino enrollado en el cuello hacia la frontera libanesa con Israel, lo que el consideraba Palestina. Agarró una piedra y la lanzó. Una bala le perforó el pecho. Cayó al suelo. Fue alzado por sus compañeros que vieron como se extinguió en breves segundos su último hilo de vida. Continue reading

Maroun Ras: Day of death at Lebanese-Israeli Border

All started as a commemoration. Busses, food, chanting, derbekes. We arrived to Maroun Ras alter 4 hours driving from Beirut. Some youth went out of the path and start running to the border…they are not aware there are mines on the way. Chanting and stones are thrown to the Israeli soldiers hidden between and electric fence and a forest. Impossible to be reached by stones. We hear the first shooting. The first martyr has less than 20 years and is from Ein el Helwe camp next to Saida. The second one 14th. Continue reading

Today around 6 pm Lebanese time took place a demonstration pro-Bashar in front of the Syrian Embassy…a guy was puncturing his finger to give more credibility to his chanting “with our soul, with our blod, we belong to you ya Bashar” and pouring his blood in a poster of Bashar.
