Nakba day- Is Syria using young Palestinians to send a message?

To balance the post of the Fatah guy talking about Syrian been behind the Nakba confrontation in Maroun al-Ras I have to add that today I interviewed Fadel Taha in Ein el helwe (Hamas political representative in the camps of the South and North) and he said that every year they bring 40 or 50 busses to the border, is not the first time they do so. But this time was larger event. This contradicts the version of the Fatah guy I mentioned couple of post below. I wil add I drove one hour back to Beirut from Maroun al Ras behind a bus with Syrian plaque. Continue reading

Funerales en Ein El Hewle por las víctimas de Maroun Al-Ras

Abdel Rahman Sabha tenia 19 años cuando ayer se lanzó con vítores, cantos y su pañuelo palestino enrollado en el cuello hacia la frontera libanesa con Israel, lo que el consideraba Palestina. Agarró una piedra y la lanzó. Una bala le perforó el pecho. Cayó al suelo. Fue alzado por sus compañeros que vieron como se extinguió en breves segundos su último hilo de vida. Continue reading
